Dive into the magic of the underwater world

From Dahab to the Blue Hole you can take a tour bus or taxi. Diving in Blue Hole (Dahab) takes place 15 km from the Egyptian resort.

Blue Hole is a world-famous vertical cave hidden under water. The natural sea hole deepens into the sea for 130 metres. The sinkhole starts right on the shore, visually it looks like a glass with a tapering shape. The Blue Hole has a couple of connections to the open sea: at 7m there is a sagging saddle, densely covered with coral, and at 56m there is the Arch.

Despite its incredible beauty and popularity with divers, diving at Blue Hole is not for everyone. It is among the most dangerous dive sites in the world - diving requires proper training and considerable diving experience.

Divers with equipment dive from the shore into the reef break. Divers cross the Blue Hole, entering the open sea through a saddle sag at a depth of 7 metres. The outer part of the saddle has quite a few gorgonaria, black corals, and alcyonaria.

Techno-divers make dives directly into the crevasse, with entry into the water on bridges. They go all the way to the Arch at 56 metres, entering the open sea from the outer wall of the Hole.

The Blue Hole is one of the most beautiful places of the Red Sea in the vicinity of Sharm el Sheikh. Here your eyes will be delighted by clown fish, parrot fish, spinaroos, glass fish, etc. One of the walls of the cave is covered with a unique multi-metre long "carpet" of the rarest coral called "elephant skin". The local waters are rich in tuna, barracuda, as well as other numerous inhabitants.
