El Garden, also known as the Eel Garden, is located north of Lighthouse Reef. This unusual location is named after the eels that live in colonies on the sandy deep slopes.

The peculiarity of eels is in their way of hunting - in a safe environment, they stick out of hiding and freeze in a vertical position. From the outside, the sight resembles a field of tall grass swaying under the influence of the sea current.

The entrance to the Eel Garden runs along a brightly colored reef through an amazing coral corridor. Once at the end of the corridor, the diver is greeted by a veritable soup of fish, surrounded on all sides by swarms of bright blue caesia. In spring, these waters are especially colorful with fry.

The standard route follows. The eel plateau is to the left. Another travel option is to move right along the reef wall to Lighthouse, then return to the entry point.

The animal life of the Eel Garden is mainly represented by eels. The small predators, which gave the dive site its name, live at a depth of 10-15 meters. To get the opportunity to admire the amazing colonies, dive very quietly and smoothly - eels are quite timid, in case of any danger they will hide in sandy burrows.

Bright haylins, multicolored winged fish, cuzovki, dogfish, butterflyfish, tuna. There are also octopuses, electric stingrays, devil scorphenopsis, and many other unique representatives of the underwater kingdom. You can get the most colorful pictures at the reef wall, capturing blue cesia. The plateau itself with eels looks no less mesmerizing.
